Blue cheese salad dressing, Cobb Salad, no bake blueberry pie (The Sunday Times. August 19th 2012)
Hello there,
When you have time, sit and scroll down to the no bake Blueberry pie. This.Is.The.Bomb.
Worth cutting out and keeping it stuck to the fridge in my opinion!
The recipe for the Blue Cheese dressing is the one and same of what we used to serve at BrewWorks, The Iron Horse Inn and Rondos. Lap it up! And if you have never had (or made) a Cobb salad – now is the time to try it!
Thanks for reading and enjoy the recipes.

Hola Mona……I have made this dressing today and put it into an ice tray and frozen it. That way I just thaw a cube or two when I need it.
Thanks for the idea of wrapping the salad in tortillas. Will do so on Friday when my son comes for lunch.
We don’t hear from you for a couple of weeks and HEYPRESTO!! Two days running…LOL..I make tartare a lot, but don’t put Heinz 57 in it, as we cannot get it here. Using the same method, I also make tartare with salmon and tuna, mixed (raw of course) and it’s lovely.
Thanks again.
Maureen
Hi Maureen!
I know. AND expect to see a blog-a-day for the next few days until I get all caught up with The Sunday Times articles posted online.
That blue cheese dressing is the bomb . . I am sure you will enjoy it.
The wraps are a huge hit around here. We usually make one for them and then if they are hungry enough for seconds they can fix their own.
Sometimes it is all egg or bacon .. but hey, they eat it! I have a piece of gorgeous blue fin Tuna this week so we are toying with tartare or tuna carpaccio…. either way . . YUM! Thanks for (always) reading.
Móna x
O.K., that no-bake blueberry pie looks amazing. I’d love one of your cobb salad wraps for lunch and top it off with a big thick slice of this pie.
The no bake blueberry pie is just fabulous.
We are going to do the same with blackberries this weekend.
I have a feeling it will be fabulous! And those Cobb wraps are always a huge hit around here!
I have three columns to catch up on but oooh how I have always loved Blue Cheese Dressing! Sadly we do not get fresh blueberries here in Nantes so the pie I’ll have to taste when I come and visit! I am about to make two recipes from your book though…
Jamie,
I love watching the progress on your new home. It looks like
a total labour of love and I can’t wait to see it finished.
I am having ‘back to school blues’ here at the moment but I am sure
‘this too shall pass’ xx Thanks for popping in..the blue cheese is fab x
